Softsound offers a variety of audio engineering services including recording and production, sound reinforcement of acoustic sources, PA rental for meetings and gatherings, media file manipulation (including mp3 encoding and transfer of older media types like cassettes and reel to reel recordings to digital formats), audio, computer and systems consulting, and arranging and transcribing original musical compositions. Recording and sound reinforcement of choral groups, classical music, and acoustic instruments is our particular area of expertise.

We know that some people want to learn about audio and music technology, and some people simply want us to make it happen for them. The way we see it, our job is to help you accomplish your goals whatever they may be.

We charge a flat rate of $50 an hour for all services except large recording projects, arranging and transcription projects, and PA system rental, which are all quoted on a per job basis.

We do not offer "studio recording" services. Our studio is used for mixing and editing our on-location recordings only.
